Vape Juice and Food: A Combo Guide

Vape juice and food are like peanut butter and jelly. They go perfectly together and improve each other’s flavor profiles. However, sometimes we’re not sure what some juices go well with what foods. With this in mind, I’ve created an ultimate guide to vape juice and food pairings that will change the way you vape forever.

Wines and sharp cheeses

Wines and sharp cheeses are a delicious pairing that is sure to please the palete. If you’re looking for an alcohol-free option, try white wine or champagne. The sharpness of these flavors can be enjoyed by itself or in combination with other foods. Sharp cheeses include Parmesan, Gorgonzola, Roquefort and Blue Cheese.

Desserts with strawberry or chocolates

Sweet strawberries are a classic pairing with desserts, and they’re hard to beat for flavor. When it comes to strawberry vapes, you’ve got a lot of options. There’s the classic strawberry-flavored e-juice in all its sweet iterations, like Sweet Strawberry or Strawberry Banana.

But if you’re looking for something more complex and nuanced than that, there’s also a great deal of variety in the form of fruit blends that include strawberries.

Chocolate vape juice is a great dessert vape for people who enjoy eating chocolate as well as vaping it. Chocolate vape juice doesn’t have much of an aftertaste at all, so it’s perfect for when you want something sweet after dinner or in between meals.

Meat with blueberries

The best part about this vape flavour is that it’s not at all overpowering. It’s just enough to give a nice kick in the mouth without being too strong or overbearing. It also has a sweet undertone to it, which makes it one of our favourite meat pairings.

Raspberry with hot tea

The sweet and sour flavour of hot tea is paired with the fruity, juicy, and refreshing taste of Raspberry. The addition of the raspberry flavour gives it a sweet note that is really delicious. This vape juice is a great way to start your day, or as an after-dinner treat. If you like your tea with a sweetener but don’t want to compromise on the flavour, this one will hit the spot!

Fried foods with vanilla

Fried foods, like French fries and onion rings, are all the rage these days. But what about the other side of the equation? What if you could get the same effect by pairing a vaping flavour of vanilla with your fried foods? It’s a trick that has been tried before and turned out to be delicious.

Vanilla works well with fried foods because it has a sweet and creamy taste.

There you have it: the basics of pairing vape juice with food. In many ways, this is similar to wine or beer pairings, in that there are no definite rules. Instead, you’re free to experiment and see what works best for you. The most important thing to keep in mind is that variety is key—don’t be afraid to try new things and find out what fits you.

Montreal’s Best Souvlakis

Montreal, as a cosmopolitan city, has welcomed – and continues to embrace – citizens from all over the globe who carry a piece of their heritage with them and translate it to the Montreal environment.

Generations later, the Greek presence in Montreal remains to be felt, particularly in its cuisine, and even in its most basic dishes. So, where can you get the best souvlaki in Montreal? Here’s a list of locations to experience some of the best.

Marathon

According to what we’ve heard, people either adore or despise Marathon. We believe this is because it is one of the more commercial solutions available. Having said that, it’s clean, the servings are adequate, and it generally strikes the spot.

Parthenon

This family-style restaurant, which is genuinely owned by a family, serves up some major flavor. Their souvlaki meal is large, with nicely grilled but meaty skewers, and the terasse and atmosphere will transport you to a Greek tavern, which is kind of the purpose.

Greektown Grill

This is the best Greek grill restaurant in Laval, featuring pig and lamb chops, loukaniko meat, and beef patties with oregano and citrus. The main lure is the family-style banquets, with mezze dishes and “Greektown Boards” combining all of the above said grilled delicacies into one plate.

Christina’s Cuisine

If you ask around Laval for Greek meal ideas, Christina’s is almost always mentioned. While a variety of mezze and staples such as pastitsio and moussaka as well as Greek loukaniko meat are available, a rotating menu of hefty special offers keeps regulars returning for more.

Arahova

What was once a modest location in Montreal’s Mile End is now a huge retail brand with merchandise on grocery shelves across the country. Clearly, they’re doing something great, and if you haven’t had their souvlaki yet, what else are you waiting for? It’s difficult to reject a tzatziki recipe that’s been around for almost 43 years.

Best Monreal Asian Soups

Almost everyone enjoys a good bowl of soup at any season of the year, but when the temperature falls below zero, a spoonful of soup is an especially great and immediate refuge. These are some of our favorite places in the city to get a bowl to go.

Le Butterblume

A couple of key meals last long on Butterblume’s ever-changing repertoire. One of the few foods that have withstood the test of time is the German ravioli stew, which consists of some German-style ravioli in a delectable broth. To eat it is to embrace it; this soup is well deserved a permanent spot on the menu.

M’Berberli Soup

When the restaurants are open, chef and founder Atigh Ould usually walks around and ladles the M’Berberli broth into clients’ bowls personally. The starting dish, a blend of mushy lentils, ginger, lime, cumin, and pepper, is available for takeaway during the restaurant’s downtime.

Satay Brothers

Among Montrealers, the Satay Brothers have developed a fanatical fanbase. Their restaurants are always filled with people looking for outstanding Southeast Asian food. The sweet and spicy laksa lemak soup, an Indonesian dish created with coconut cream, will fulfill any craving for a wonderful bowl of comfort.

Restaurant Gus

Chef David Ferguson’s onion stew has extra levels of flavor and zest, just like the remainder of his cooking. The cheesy, thick soup is made with guajillo chile, red lager, pork bones, cheddar, and ancho seasoning and is topped with fresh diced avocado at the bottom. You will not feel hungry after eating this soup.

Mae Sri

Mae Sri has a comprehensive soup menu, but their Tom Yum is a standout. With a Plateau eatery carrying her name, chef Pamika Sukla began spicing up Montreal’s generally inert Thai food market in 2013. Since then, she has launched two noodle counters.

Best Montreal Microbreweries

Do you like a nice handcrafted beer and some tasty snacks to go with it? You’re in luck: both are cornerstones of Montréal’s booming microbrewery scene.

The charm of the Montreal Craft Beer sector is that multiple craft breweries are close to one another. So there’s never been a better reason to take a stroll, get some cardio, and possibly make several pit stops along the route, making your personal brewery tour!

Benelux Brasserie artisanale

For the past 15 years, this downtown brewery has been a reliable Montréal beer hotspot, whereas the Verdun bar features one of the city’s most beautiful terraces. Excellent brews for all tastes, a knowledgeable and friendly staff, and delectable snacks have all contributed to the establishment’s success.

Dieu Du Ciel

Dieu du Ciel, one of the most well-known and acclaimed brewers, has won a place in history with its distinctive brew recipes. You can get their beers in-store, but if you’re allowed to have a beer straight from the brewery in the heart of Mile End, don’t pass it up.

Le Saint-Bock

The grandiose goals of this micropub’s managers have immediately put Le Saint-Bock on the market. It has a large selection of on-tap beers as well as a large selection of privately imported bottles. This renowned downtown location also hosts one-of-a-kind performances.

Le Cheval Blanc

Le Cheval Blanc, Montréal’s first brewpub, has aged very well, thanks to the excellent hoppy compositions of senior brewer Isal Dagenais. The eclectic population that gathers here virtually every evening prefers the relaxed atmosphere with a tinge of vintage.

L’Espace Public

This is a modest but welcoming environment where the entire city may feel at ease. This bustling tasting room, just a short distance from Succarsale, frequently hosts live music and art gallery shows.

Enjoy their delectable beers on their beautiful patio, which is outfitted with lovely picnic tables, or take it indoors and sit next to their brewing plant, where all the fun begins.

ONoir

ONoir provides a sensual dining experience unlike any other. Located in the center of downtown Montreal just south of Bloor Street, this establishment has been keeping visitors in the dark for more than a decade.

To begin, it should be mentioned that dining in the dark is not a gimmick, nor is it the only thing Onoir has to offer. The cuisine is fantastic on its own!

Because the dining room is completely dark, ordering would be difficult. Thus, food is ordered in the foyer, where soft lighting highlights the wood finishes of the bar, chairs, and stools, and a vast bookcase displays a plethora of antique volumes.

Choosing a drink to have in a group should be easy in ONoir. A table serving drinks is accompanied by hors d’oeuvres to eat while relaxing in a pleasant setting.

The waiting staff takes note of all your allergies, and you’re good to go. The menu’s surprise section mixes the chefs’ surprise meals with a drink. Aside from that, this business caters to vegetarians.

Everyone should go and see what ONoir has to offer its clients. Good food, nice drinks, and friendly service all contribute to an experience you will never forget.

Le Kube

Le Kube is a lobby resto-bar at Montreal’s historic Hôtel Bonaventure. The easygoing atmosphere makes this a great place to have a meal or a cocktail.

This place presents a diverse menu with international influences, showcasing innovative dishes with simple and seasonal specialties. The cuisine attracts both hipsters and bankers, who mix and lend to the colorful atmosphere of the restaurant.

If you’re looking for a Parisian-style bistro experience, Le Kube is a must-visit in Montréal. Its beautiful style and delectable menu easily capture the hearts of young and old guests.

The food has seen very few modifications since the new chef took over the kitchen. To develop absolutely unique dishes, the chef takes inspiration from all over the world. We appreciate the wine list even more because it is so reasonably priced.

Seafood pizza on a crunchy rice cake, Cornish duck with braised potatoes, and veal paillard with organic asparagus and plum tomatoes are among the signature dishes. And, Le Kube is the greatest when it comes to French Onion Soup!

In this comfortably stylish resto-bar, modern meets classic. Come to relax, take in the ambiance, and catch up with friends or coworkers over a meal or perhaps a drink. Le Kube is open seven days a week, from daylight to midnight.

Chez Tomio

Chez Tomio serves a healthy mixture of Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisines. Menu items range from traditional street dishes to a great fusion of flavors such as a pho-like soup and tortilla.

Chef Long Chiem started this company after noticing a growing market for Asian food among hotel guests. He then started a homemade sushi food service for the metro’s major hotels.

Mr. Chiem wanted to expand his services after seeing its popularity skyrocket, offering weekly lessons, in-home cooking, and partnering with huge corporations such as Las Olas.

Chez Tomio street truck began roaming the streets of Montreal in the early summer of 2017, delivering economical and tasty Asian-Quebecois fusion cuisine.

The year 2019 was quickly emerging to be an amazing one for the brand. The addition of dedicated fusion cuisine restaurants, the extension of the buffet meal, and the addition of a new Asian cuisine station allow the Chez Tomio personnel to deliver the best service possible to its clientele.

Chez Tomio would then reopen a new counter on Avenue Papineau in 2021 to welcome back its enthusiastic patrons!

Tô Comptoir Asiatique

Tô Comptoir Asiatique is a delightful boutique ready-to-eat Asian food restaurant located just adjacent to McGill University.

This place makes insanely wonderful poke bowls that you should try, as well as vegetarian options like their fantastic tiny Banh Mi sandwich with silken tofu and fresh mayonnaise.

The sheer size of Tô’s location is endearing. Inside, there are twelve seats provided. It is close to a charming terrace with eight seats, ideal for enjoying the sunny weather while avoiding the heat.

The establishment’s décor offers a pleasant and welcoming ambiance. The space is open, offering a view of the kitchen.

Some of Hien’s works are also displayed on the room’s walls. These add warmth and personality to the little restaurant.

This Nicolas Delrieu and Hien Tran’s initiative launched on April 1, 2018. The name  Tô means “bowl” in the Vietnamese language, and the restaurant originally specialized in pokés and other equivalent dishes. Then, within a few months, demand surged, and Tô broadened its product in response to client requests.

Hien is a driven individual who has spent years on the counter’s menu. This results in a variety of healthful options that provide a unique twist to the standard formula.

Koa Lua

Raw fish has made its mark in restaurant cuisine through sashimi, sushi, ceviche, and many more, and poke has recently joined this list.

If you enjoy Hawaiian food, add Koa Lua to your library. This restaurant is known for its delicious poke bowls, spicy salmon, and shrimp.

In ancient Hawaiian, “Koa Lua” symbolizes “brave warrior.” And by doing so, this business hopes to distinguish itself from the myriad commercial names for poke eateries that are now in use.

The bright sea-green colors, lush vegetation, and even the surfboard-shaped tabletop surrounded by diner chairs take you to tropical climates complete with surf and beaches. It’s also fun to look at the antiques on the walls.

Unlike other poke shops, Koa Lua’s recipes are already customized. The Black Magic is a clear winner, but others are excellent, and it’s worth closely reading through the selection because the mixtures are so varied.

These restaurant owners are also dedicated to providing exceptional service. When a consumer walks through Koa Lua’s doors, they will be reminded of Hawaii and vacations with beaches and sunlight.

People can come here to get away from it all. And, as a bonus, no sunscreen is required!

Fruit Oeufolie

Fruit Oeufolie has three locations and serves a diverse variety of classic breakfasts every day. From crepes to pancakes to eggs Benedict, you’re sure to find something you like!

This eatery offers perfectly cooked poutine and delicious soup. According to reviews, waiters here provide great parfait and perfectly cooked crepes.

Every breakfast includes a cup of wonderful coffee to help you get started on the right foot. Lunch options are also offered Monday through Friday for those who choose to visit throughout the day.

The majority of guests say the staff is competent. Even though the wait can be significant, you can usually get a table soon. Thankfully, the wait time between placing an order and getting the meals is manageable for such a popular establishment.

Pay attention to the pleasant ambiance when you enter this establishment. According to Google users that got to visit this location, the most relevant score is 4.6.

Keep in mind that it can be a packed and noisy place, with limited space between tables. This may make eating alone uncomfortable. Nonetheless, the cuisine and the atmosphere are worth a visit, so swing by the next time you’re near one of their locations.
